Cement stabilisation

Cement immobilisation is a popular method to treat elements such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), that are leachable and bioavailable. Whilst elements
in soil cannot be destroyed, their level of toxicity can be minimised by encapsulating the contaminants with cement.

In soil cement stabilisation, soil/aggregate, cement, and water are combined to modify soil subgrade strength and provide a working platform under unsuitable conditions. The process of cement stabilisation allows site-won materials to be used to add strength to pavements, roadways, construction pads, dam foundations, parking lots and similar areas where sub–soils are having compaction issues.

New Soil provides end-to-end cement stabilisation services to help reduce schedules, weather delays, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

Activated Carbon.

Organic contaminants can be remedied in–situ using activated carbon (AC)-based amendments. In this process, activated carbon is combined with chemical or biological additives to enhance contaminant sequestration

There are several advantages to client site soil contamination treatment:

1

Removal of haulage fees and limitations

2

Potential for on–site reuse of soils once treated

3

Significant reduction in overall treatment costs
